Current Committee Members
- A.J. Allen, Chair
Knollton residents know their neighbors–and are getting to know each other better by the year!
Physical Security
Physical security starts with visibility. At Knollton, you can see the homes–they have well-maintained yards and pleasing sight lines, allowing residents to feel among others without losing the charasteristics unique to each home. And the convenient dual cul-de-sacs make for easy traffic flow without the hassle of suburban through-streets which so often invite unsafe speeds as rushed commuters try to make up time or avoid traffic lights.
- Well-lit streets and yards
- Unobstructed views of homes
- No through-traffic
Neighborhood Crime Watch
Knollton residents volunteer to keep an eye out for each other! Our crime watch group is dedicated to staying vigilant and communicative so everybody can sleep a little better at night. But daytime crime happens, too, so we conspicuously post our Crime Watch sign at the very entrance to Knollton. Who says a little publicity can’t go a long way?
Modern Tech
Knollton is a mature Ryland community, with initial development dating to 1995. Since then, new fiber-optic infrastructure has been installed, bringing fiber to the curbside of every home in Knollton; in addition, “old-fashioned” cable TV has been converted to higher-tech digital cable. These enhanced utilities give residents a dizzying array of choices for highly-available, continuously-connected property monitoring systems.
